Gillingham manager Mark Stimson has finally been able to add a striker to his squad after completing a deal for Manchester United's Febian Brandy.
The 20-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance for the Red Devils, but has Football League experience from loan spells at Swansea and Hereford.
The Gills have been without a genuine partner for Simeon Jackson for much of the season, with Mark McCammon sitting out through injury and Scott Vernon lasting less than 45 minutes of his debut at MK Dons.
Dennis Oli has been employed alongside Jackson in recent weeks, but the arrival of the diminutive Brandy will give Stimson another attacking option.
The news follows the departure of Luis Cumbers to AFC Wimbledon on a month's loan and Brandy, like fellow loanee Matt Fry, is available to play in Saturday's FA Cup first round tie with Southend.
