Jackman and Gazzaniga scoop Gills awards
Danny Jackman's form this season has seen him awarded with the Gillingham player of the year.
29-year-old Jackman won both the fans' and player' awards and, as he told the official website, he was 'over the moon' to have managed this.
He would have given it up for promotion though: 'I'm over the moon.
'I had a couple of tough years beforehand and it's nice in my third year to get these awards, it means a lot to me.
'It's nice, but I'd give it up for promotion, any player would because that is what you are judged on ultimately.'
This was won ahead of Danny Kedwell and Paulo Gazzaniga, although Gazzaniga's debut season saw him named the young player of the year.
