Scally refutes Port Vale Adams claims
BBC Radio Stoke has reported that Gillingham approached Port Vale for permission to speak to their manager Micky Adams.
This approach was, again according to what the BBC reports, rejected with Port Vale confirming as much on their Twitter page? Although speaking to BBC Radio Kent Paul Scally refuted the claims saying it was 'complete rubbish.'
Someone somewhere is not telling the full story are they!
Adams is a decent manager who has a good record at a lower level but has never really reached the potential he was meant to with his record in the higher reaches of the English game often not matching up with his billing.
It is an easy link to make seen as Adams started his professional career with The Gills, making almost 100 appearances during a four-year stay, although would a return as Gillingham's manager be something that you would favour anyway?
