Quadruple swoop for Gillingham

You wait a while for a signing and then four of them come along on one day!

Southampton keeper Tommy Forecast was first, coming in on a season long loan on Friday morning (could this mean it is The Saints that will secure a current Gills keeper?)

Another keeper, Stuart Nelson, then signed a two-year contract as a free agent following his release by Notts County.

Ben Strevens, a striker that has worked with Martin Allen previously as had Nelson, came in on a free following his release by Wycombe following their relegation into league two. He signed a one-year deal

Finally midfielder Charlie Allen joined The Gills from Notts County, he too signed a one-year deal following his release.

A mixture of players here with varying levels of experience and ability, although all should add something to the squad.

Reading between the lines though you would think that the arrival of two keepers means that Paulo Gazzaniga is on his way from Priestfield?
