Boro too strong for Gills
Gillingham 0-2 Middlesbrough
Gillingham's Capital One Cup adventure has ended for another season with Championship side Middlesbrough proving too strong for them at Priestfield on Tuesday night.
Midway through the first half Middlesbrough took the lead through Mustapha Carayol (23), with this held until the interval.
Gillingham pushed for an equaliser and did everything but this in the final 15-minutes or so until Cameron Park (90) secured the visitors a place in round three with a last minute goal to secure a 2-0 win.
