Still unbeaten but 100% record ended
Gillingham 1-1 Chesterfield
The 100% record that Gillingham had at the start of the season has been ended but they're still unbeaten following a draw with Chesterfield on Saturday.
Chesterfield, without a manager following the sacking of John Sheridan, got off to a fine start when Craig Westcarr (13) put them ahead.
The visitors' lead wasn't held for long though as Danny Kedwell's (21) goal meant that Gillingham equalised and went into the half time break level.
A winner couldn't be found in the second half with Deon Burton going the closest for The Gills, his effort was cleared off the line with the visitors ending with 10-men when Westcarr was sent off in stoppage time for a second booking.
