15th Sept 2012
Priestfield Stadium

Gillingham maintained their impressive start to the season with a comprehensive win over struggling Bristol Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

A double from Danny Kedwell (5 & 15), the first of which was a penalty, got Gillingham off to a great start, with them going into the half time break three-nil up when Charlie Lee (45) added another on the stroke of the break.

Late on Chris Whelpdale (82) added another to see The Gills inflict a 4-0 defeat on Bristol Rovers and make sure that the manager of the month award for Martin Allen didn't jinx his side!
