American international arrives

Ahead of the weekend game with Port Vale Robbie Findlay was brought in on loan by Gillingham.

The striker hasn't featured for Nottingham Forest this season, and has struggled slightly since his arrival at the City Ground in 2011, but has the chance to get his career in England up and running again with this loan spell with The Gills.

Martin Allen has managed to convince the American international to drop down to league two for an initial one-month spell with the club that could well be extended if the 27-year-old impresses and the deal works for all concerned.

Findlay was available to make his debut at Port Vale and indeed did.
