Gills pair join Corby

Jack Evans and Alex Brown have been sent out on loan to non-league outfit Corby Town.

Both Evans and Brown, 19 and 20 respectively, have found it tough going to break into the Gillingham squad this season but have made first-team appearances for The Gills but have a better chance of first-team football during their initial month long stays with Corby.

The spell away will benefit the pair who can then return and push on, assuming they are part of Martin Allen's long-term plans?
