The Gills 4-1 Burton

20th October 2012

Gillingham maintained their grip at the top of the league two table with a home win over in-form Burton on Saturday afternoon.

First half goals from Tom Flanagan (22) and Matt Fish (40), towards the end of the half, saw Gillingham go into the break in control.

Zander Diamond (54) gave Burton hope of a revival early in the second half when he pulled one back but Myles Weston (59) soon restored The Gills' two-goal lead with Joe Martin (63) wrapping up a 4-1 win soon after.
