Extension for Gills captain
Adam Barrett has been hailed by Paul Scally (as he told the official website) a "slimmer and faster Guy Butters."
Such has been the impact of Barrett since he arrived from Bournemouth in August he's been appointed The Gills' captain and already earned himself a contract extension, which was signed this week.
His leadership abilities, on and off the pitch, have brought him a two-year extension that means he'll be staying with Gillingham until the end of the 2014/15 season.
