Gills fightback to earn a point

Gillingham 2-2 Fleetwood
15th December 2012
15:00
Priestfield Stadium

A two-goal lead was overturned by Gillingham as they earned what could prove to be an important point against Fleetwood on Saturday afternoon.

Two-goals in less than 10-minutes from Junior Brown (20) and Alan Goodall (28) left Fleetwood seemingly in control before the half hour mark. Charlie Lee (42) brought Gillingham back into the game just before the break, and they almost levelled in injury-time.

Approaching the midway point of the second half The Gills did get an equaliser though when substitute Myles Weston (65) levelled.

Fleetwood thought they had won it late on but Brown's goal was disallowed for offside so the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
