Boxing Day defeat for Gills

Gillingham 0-1 Barnet
26th December 2012
13:00
Priestfield

Gillingham's indifferent form of late continued on Boxing Day with them beaten at Priestfield by relegation threatened Barnet. The Gills have only won once in five outings now.

Early chances came and went for The Bees, as the looked threatening early on so when Jake Hyde (19) opened the scoring it wasn't really a surprise.

Gillingham didn't force too many clear-cut opportunities but the ones that they did towards the end were prevented goals by Barnet keeper Graham Stack to ensure The Bees held on for a 1-0 win.
