Gills striker staying at Priestfield
Danny Kedwell isn't leaving Gillingham, despite speculation to the contrary.
Martin Allen, as he told KentOnline, insists that "loads of clubs" have shown an interest in the 29-year-old, but he's not for sale: 'Loads of clubs have rung up about him but he is not going anywhere. He is a good player and part of our squad.'
Kedwell has scored 10 goals in 23 appearances, seven as a sub, and has stressed himself that as "a local boy" he wants to stay with the club he supports and doesn't plan to go anywhere as he wants to "finish his career" at Priestfield.
The Gills don't want to sell, the striker doesn't want to leave so that should be the end of it, however money talks so if an offer is good enough he could well leave?
