Former Loanee Set For Gills Return?

Cody McDonald, who has previously enjoyed a highly successful loan spell with the club, is training with Gillingham ahead of a proposed loan return.

In 43 outings the striker scored an impressive 25-goals when on loan from Norwich in the 2010/11 season but has struggled with Coventry since his move to them in the 2011.

The 26-year-old has been training with The Gills this week with Martin Allen poised to bring him back to Priestfield on loan this week.

If this comes off and he is half as successful as his last spell Gillingham aren't going to go far wrong!
