Strevens Returns To Dagenham

Ben Strevens was reluctantly made available on a free transfer by Martin Allen at the start of the month, with his short time with Gillingham coming to an end on transfer deadline day.

32-year-old Strevens linked up with Allen at Gillingham in the summer but hasn't found first-team football as easy to come across as he wanted, and at the stage of the career he's at wanted more so The Gills boss agreed he could have a free transfer is the right club came in for him.

Dagenham made their move for the striker on Thursday and this saw him return to the club that he shot to fame with really following their promotion into the Football League in the mid-000's!
