Gills Could Lose McDonald?

Cody McDonald's loan spell with Gillingham was for three-months, however Coventry retained the right to recall him after 28-days.

A third goal in four outings since his returns to The Gills, meaning the striker picked up where he left off following a previous loan spell, hasn't gone unnoticed by Coventry boss Mark Robins.

He has hinted, in The Coventry Telegraph, that he may well "have a look" at bringing him back if his goalscoring form continues with Coventry struggling to find the net of late.

It would be a disappointing blow to lose the 25-year-old should The Sky Blues recall him, however this was always something that was possible.
