Another Win On The Road For Gillingham

Chesterfield 0-1 Gillingham
23rd February 2013
15:00
Proact Stadium

Gillingham's march towards promotion saw them tick off another of the wins they'll need to get into League One following a win at Chesterfield on Saturday.

A couple of saves, one a cracking one, from Tommy Lee prevented Gillingham from breaking the deadlock in the first half with Chesterfield also going close with the break approaching.

Within minutes of the restart The Gills did breakthrough with loanee Cody McDonald (50) maintaining his goalscoring form to put the visitors ahead.

Plenty of injury-time was played out, with The Gills coming under some pressure from the hosts, but they did enough to see through a 1-0 win to keep their place at the top of the table.
