Brentford Recall German

Antonio German's loan spell with Gillingham has been ended prematurely with him recalled by his parent club.

German was meant to stay with The Gills up to, and including the meeting with Rotherham on Easter Monday, however Brentford have "exercised their right" to recall him.

The striker made a good impact at Priestfield during his seven outings, having arrived at the end of last month, and Martin Allen most likely would have looked to extend the spell but will now have to look elsewhere before the loan window closes on Thursday.
