Frampton Moves On

Andy Frampton looks destined to stay in League Two, to sign for AFC Wimbledon, after he turned down the chance of staying with Gillingham.

Martin Allen wanted to retain the 33-year-old, however the contract being offered wasn't long enough for him and the defender decided to move on.

Wimbledon are apparently prepared to give Frampton the two-year deal he wanted so he'll be signing a contract with The Dons shortly, however Neal Ardley has gone on the record as playing down the suggestion that it's a "done deal" just yet!
