'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Brentford's German Signed

That's not a Brentford German signing for Gillingham its former Brentford player Antonio German that has come to Priestfield.

In seven outings during a loan spell with The Gills last season German impressed, as such they've snapped him up for an undisclosed amount.

Martin Allen, as he told the official website, intends to work the forward hard in pre-season in the hope of seeing the club get the best out of him. He said: 'It's my job to help him, support him and guide him in the right direction and help him score goals.

'He doesn't know it yet but he will be pushed and pressured into the toughest pre-season, both mentally and physically, to maximise his undoubted ability.'

German is a talented player who will add another attacking dimension to Allen.
