'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Payne Seals Posh Move

Jake Payne's Gillingham exit has finally happened.

Having spent the second half of last season on loan with Peterborough, after enjoying a successful spell, they wanted to sign him on a permanent basis and they've managed this.

News of the 21-year-olds arrival at London Road was confirmed via a Tweet by Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony with the midfielder signing a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Payne has a bright future ahead of him, it's a shame this couldn't be with the Gills but that's the way football goes sometimes.
