'If It's Football, It's Vital'

An Exciting Range

Gillingham have a variety of attacking options available to them, with the range of strengths each brings crucial to the club.

The resigning of Adebayo Akinfenwa left the Gills with him, Adam Birchall, Antonio German, Danny Kedwell and Myles Weston as the striking options.

John Schofield, as he told BBC Radio Kent, is exited by the combinations on offer. He said: 'Any two or three of those five is an exciting combination.

'We've got a mixture of power, strength, pace, movement and fox in the box. We've got everything.

'It's no secret that we've got a good recipe. It's now just a question of improving the ingredients we have got. We identify players we think are going to improve the squad.'

On paper, at least, the options certainly do look exciting with the potential of mixing things up there for Martin Allen at the start of games and during them!

There's still scope for another arrival, especially with Adam Birchall available for transfer.
