Cody McDonald could yet make another return to Gillingham? The Coventry striker has already enjoyed two successful loan spells with the club but a third returning isn't being ruled out.

Assistant manager John Schofield was asked about this possibility, and even though he didn't rule it in he far from ruled it out and went as far as saying Martin Allen's "rough copy" of his squad still has the "no.10 spare".

Clearly another striker is being targeted and McDonald's 29 goals in 48 appearances for the Gills over two loan spells would be hard to better so if a deal can be done this would be great for the club!
