McDonald Completes Gillingham Move

Gillingham now have a player to fill the no.10 shirt after Cody McDonald's return to the club for a third time was confirmed.

Unlike previous spells with the Gills though this one is a permanent stay!

Martin Allen, as he told the official website, said: 'Cody is a match-winner, he scores goals and on and off the field he conducts himself in the right way.

'He works hard and Mr Scally has worked for the last couple of months to get this deal done.'

McDonald has signed a two-year contract following his exit from Coventry, with the 27-year-olds contract terminated by mutual consent.

The striker has done the business in two previous loan spells; everyone connected with the club will be hoping that he continues to do this as a full time Gills player!
