'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Breaking The Duck?

Gillingham came up from league two with Bradford last season, however it was the Gills that of course came up as champions.

Bradford though, having made the final of the league cup as well, have carried the awesome momentum that they carried forward in going up via the play offs into league one and are flying high whereas Gillingham are finding life a little more difficult...

Positively Martin Allen doesn't have to worry about any fresh injury concerns and should have Chris Whelpdale, rumoured by the Daily Star to have been "put up for sale" this week, back all being well.

Given the contrasts in form, even though this is at Priestfield, would you be a brave person to be confident that the Gills will get that elusive league one win?

That being said why bother playing if you don't think you can win, but I'm also one who deals in realism and (not meaning to sound negative) if we can avoid a defeat that's a good outcome this weekend...
