Gills Face Brackley Or Barrow

Gillingham's opponents in the first round of the FA cup have been revealed.

This weekend the final qualifying round took place, and on Sunday afternoon the draw for the first round proper took place live on ITV.

Technically our opponents aren't actually known, as the side they will face will be known next week when they play a replay.

Gillingham will face either Brackley or Barrow in the first round of the FA cup.

Whoever wins that replay on Tuesday is going to be a real test for us, the fact that we will play this at Priestfield should give us an advantage, having said that perhaps this will add extra pressure and just increase the incentive to the side we end up playing?

It'll not be easy but all being well an upset can be avoided and a place in round two can be secured.

This tie will be played on the 9th and 10th November.
