Team News v Tranmere

Gillingham are off to Tranmere's Prenton Park on Friday for what looks to be a real relegation six-pointer.

A leg injury for Chris Whelpdale as well as a knee problem for Danny Hollands means that both of them will sit out the visit to Merseyside.

Hamstring and thigh injuries for Charlie Lee and Craig Fagan respectively should have been overcome for them to take a place in the squad.

Amine Linganzi is trying to overcome his hamstring injury, it's been said that he's suffered a bit of a setback in his return but should be able to be a part of the travelling squad, which is a boost as is the news that Jake Hessenthaler's tight groin, that forced him off in the last game, can also be involved.

It's a game that we can ill afford to lose, and as much as we'd like to win possibly don't necessarily have and with a mixed bag of team news a draw wouldn't be a bad result tonight.
