Hessenthaler Signs New Deal

Jake Hessenthaler's progress this season with Gillingham has been rewarded with a new long-term contract, and it is certainly a long-term one.

Since making his first-team debut back in November last year the midfielder has gone on to make 10 appearances for the club and impressed Peter Taylor enough to reward him with a new deal.

The midfielder, of course the son of Gills legend Andy Hessenthaler, has signed a new contract with the club that will keep him at Priestfield until the summer of 2019. Hence this being a truly long-term deal.

19-year-old Hessenthaler has been a real shining light of the clubs season.
