'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Team News v Sheffield United

Gillingham return to league one action on Wednesday night when they take on Sheffield United.

After a free weekend, due to Sheffield United being in FA cup action and securing a quarter final place, the Gills didn't have a game but they welcome the Blades to Priestfield on Tuesday night.

Ryan Inniss was signed on loan from Crystal Palace until the end of the season last Friday and he could come in for his Gills debut.

Peter Taylor could welcome back Elliot Hewitt after suspension and Chris Whelpdale could come back after a knee injury that has keep him out for six games.

Should Gillingham win they will secure back-to-back wins for only the second time this season and make it four home games won in a row not that this will be as easy game at all but if the mistakes are cut out Taylor's sure the results will keep coming.

Ahead of the game Taylor told BBC Radio Kent: 'Nigel Clough has gone in there and improved the team. He will improve their position, no doubt about that.

'The spirit in the camp has always been good and we will keep cracking on.

'If we can cut out silly mistakes, where we give opportunities to other teams, we can go on and win games.'
