Gills Confirm Double Departure

Two players have been released by Gillingham today with their contract cancelled.

Ashley Miller and Jack Parter both had their contract at Priestfield cancelled on Thursday with them leaving the club after failing to make the breakthrough into the first-team on a regular occurrence.

Miller, a forward, and Parter, a full back, have come through the clubs youth system into the development side with Miller making his debut in 2010 and went in to make six first-team appearances.

Parter didn't make a first-team appearances.

Upon their release the statement on the official website read: 'We would like to thank both lads and wish them every success in their future careers.'
