Team News v Rotherham

Team News v Rotherham

The team news is coming through for Gillingham's latest league one fixture, so we at Vital take a look at this.

Gillingham are back at Priestfield tomorrow as they look to put an end to a fine unbeaten run that Rotherham United are on, they are looking to make it 16 unbeaten.

The knee injury that Danny Kedwell suffered when coming back from a hernia operation looks likely to keep him out for at least another couple of weeks, maybe more but he should return before the season ends.

Chris Whelpdale and Gary Borrowdale are getting close to returns but still not ready to make Gills returns yet.

Peter Taylor knows it's a tough ask for the Gills to end the Rotherham run but this could be the point for his side to find some consistency.

Ahead of the game Taylor told BBC Radio Kent: 'Rotherham are in good form and very confident. Steve Evans has signed some very good players and they are repaying him.

'We have still not reached a consistent level and I maintain if you are below half-way in the league table, you are an inconsistent team. There are areas we need to improve on.

'We have still got a bit more to do and hopefully we can make it a really good day.'
