Norris Agrees Two-Year Gills Deal
Gillingham announced the signing of another forward on Thursday with the confirmation that Luke Norris had joined the club.
Brentford had offered the 21-year-old a new contract, however he decided against signing this in favour of a move to Priestfield with him signing a two-year contract having impressed Peter Taylor during loan spells in recent times.
In 12-appearances for Northampton Town he managed five-goals before returning to his parent club, before going out on loan again to end the season with Dagenham & Redbridge where he managed four-goals in his 19-appearances.
Norris had been limited to just four-appearances during his spell at Griffin Park, scoring his one and only goal in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy against AFC Wimbledon last season.
Brentford will be entitled to a 'compensation payout', due to his age, with it announced that talks are continuing to work this out but he is a Gills player.
