Vital View - League One - 2nd September 2017

The League One season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.

An early kick off at Valley Parade saw things get underway with Bradford recording a victory over Bristol Rovers.

Meanwhile, from the 3pm games, Blackpool continue the positive adaptation to life back in League One very well. An impressive start to the campaign was ongoing with a win over AFC Wimbledon at Bloomfield Road to sit just outside of the play-off places.

The unbeaten starts for Scunthorpe and Shrewsbury continued with wins at Bury and Gillingham, respectively, being enough to move the Shrews up to second, behind leaders Peterborough - also yet to taste defeat - who were held at Doncaster as Posh dropped their first points of the campaign.

A seven goal thriller at Boundary Park was edged by Charlton, who moved up to third. The Addicks' 4-3 victory left Oldham second bottom and still to collect a point during the season so far.

Here's a round-up of the League One results with one game to take place.

Not a good start to the campaign for this club,I always say it's way way too early to be looking at league tables after only a handful of games played however two points out of a possible 15 for this club is a terrible start. The team has to start performing from now,if too many more repeat performances are achieved the club will find itself embedded in a relegation battle and once down there for a while confidence can quickly erode and it can become incredibly difficult to get the players in the right frame of mind to fight their way out of the danger one.As said it's still very early days and anything still could happen.
