Massive Support For Jepson

Apathy may be high in many Gills fans at the moment, but the vast majority of readers of this site do not want to see manager Ronnie Jepson take the blame.

Despite just two wins in 12 matches, 96% of fans who voted in our recent poll insisted that Jepson should not go.

Just 1% want him to leave now, with the other 3% wanting a change of manager at the end of this season.

Our new poll is a simple question, but with a difficult answer... Who is the Gills' player of the month for February?

The choices are:

Andrew Crofts: Coming of age more and more with each game, Crofts had a fairly consistent month, even though the team's results left a lot to be desired.

Mark Bentley: A sure-fire contender for Player of the Year, Bentley has been in good form in February, a consistent performer who was sorely missed when suspended at Huddersfield.

Dean McDonald: Finally given a run in the team, McDonald scored the Gills goal at Northampton and looks to be getting to grips with life at the club.

Nicky Southall: Back for his third spell, but his performances are as if he has never been away.

Leon Johnson: Not even a bit-part player until Ian Cox's red card at Cheltenham in January, Johnson featured in every match in February and hardly put a foot wrong, and scored the only goal in the win over Bradford.
