Hey Folks

I've unstickied the other thread now.

Just to say I will pop in every now and then but if you need me email jonathan@vitalfootball.co.uk and if anyone ever wants to site admin this site, just say (doesn't need loads of moderating but means you can sticky threads etc)

If you do any alerts, for me to see/attend/delete also prompt me by email as above. As an 'outsider' the last thing I want to do is be butting in so to speak!

The last few days the layout of the forum seems to be all skew whiff. On both the phone and the PC browser (IE11)

We've had server issues that have knocked a few things. However, all looking ok to me at the moment, albeit I don't have Internet Explorer to check now, they had so many problems with it even they abandonded for the new Microsoft Edge.

Also checked on phone (android) and it is ok.

You still having issues?

Still a little slow, but looking better I think for now. Unfortunately at my work (which is where I use this site the majority of the time) I don't have a choice which browser I use. I am used to websites looking quite weird as a reault of my work's obsession with IE - although this was particularly bad.

Glad it's improved a little at least. It's difficult for our techie to make it compliant with all systems (that's his excuse and he is sticking with it)

Yes, works seem to have been slow moving away from the worst internet browser ever for sure!!

The reason companies tend to stick with them will be mainly because their internet based systems will have been developed on the basis that they are compatible with IE, meaning it's very hard to move away to other browsers and render their own systems unusable.

The place I am working with at the moment, a leading Global Bank is only just switching from Lotus Notes to Outlook. Lotus notes is like being in the 1990s.

There seems to be a problem with the Centreplate thread - is it me or has it got jammed somehow?
