Gills head to the Dons

The Gills head to AFC Wimbledon this weekend looking to make it three wins on the spin.

They have found their scoring touch in recent weeks with nine goals scored in their last two games. In that time they have conceded just two goals as well.

Last weekend Burton were despatched thanks to a brace from ex Don Danny Kedwell and one from on loan forward Frank Nouble.

The Opposition

AFC Wimbledon are one place behind the Gills although both teams are dead level on points.

They have adjusted well to life in League Two following their play-off final win last season.

Terry Brown has his side well organised and they have beaten Dagenham, Plymouth, Port Vale, Cheltenham and Bradford just last weekend.

Big Day for...

It is a big day for Danny Kedwell, it is the first time the Gills top scorer has come up against his former side, following his move to Gillingham in the summer. There are bound to be mixed emotions for the former Dons player who is a diehard Gillingham fan.

AFC Wimbledon Team News:

Terry Brown could be without a trio of players who missed the game last weekend.

Charlie Ademeno, Keiran Djilali and Ricky Wellard. He did receive a boost this week when Mat Mitchel-King returned to training.

Player to watch: Rashid Yussuff

The former Gills midfielder has bagged two goals this season from midfield and he will sure to be looking to impress against his former club.

Gillingham Team News:

The Gills have a bit of a longer injury list with Danny Spiller, Jack Payne, Joe Martin, Adam Birchall and Barry Fuller all missing.

Curtis Weston will most likely return to the squad this weekend following a Reserve run out in midweek.

Player to watch: Frank Nouble

With two in two from his loan spell at the Gill so far, Frank Nouble will be looking to make it three in three this weekend.
