From the Other Side...
1) You're doing very well in League One this year. Having come from the Championship ourselves, I consider this to be a very poor division... How much better than League Two is it?

There's not a lot of difference between League One and League Two really. I think the one difference though is that the difference in quality between the top and the bottom of the table is less than it is in League Two. Anyone can beat anyone in this league but I think it's not like that as much in League Two.

There's plenty of examples where teams at the bottom have beaten teams competing at the top, MK Dons beat Southend and yourselves beat Brentford as well.

2) After a while in the doldrums, the Swans seem to be on the rise... What's the secret behind it?

I don't think you can really say we're on the rise. Our poor form this year has seen us drop out of the top two and we've been drawing far too many games.

That vital win over Brentford could get our season back on track and give us confidence to go on a bit of a run. I'm certainly confident that we can win on Saturday and put some pressure on the top two.

We've struggled to win games and hold onto leads and it looked as if we'd draw again, but set piece specialist Andy Robinson scored from a great free kick to get us our first win in six games.3) What's been the highlight of your season so far?

The beginning of the season was the best period of my time as a Swansea supporter. Wins over Bristol City (7-1) and Chesterfield (5-1) are up there as my highlights, not forgetting Trundle's 40-yard lob against Yeovil!

As well as that - getting to two cup finals, LDV Vans Trophy in the Millenium Stadium and the FAW Premier Cup.4) And what about the lowlight?

Coincidentally, I think the lowlight, or at least one of them has to be the home defeat to the Gills on January 31st. What with you not winning a game away all season, after that defeat I thought our chances of a top two finish were low.

Before than game we lost 2 out of 3 consecutive away games. We turned things around slightly with two wins after the defeat to you but that run didn't exactly last long. We drew 5 games in a row and it looked as if it was going to be playoffs at best this season.

The home game against Walsall was also painful to watch. Again I though our chances were low after that dreadful performance.5) Lee Trundle seems to get all the headlines for Swansea week in and week out... Is he really as good as the hype suggests?

In some games he certainly shows why he gets so much hype whilst in others and quite a lot lately, he seems to be far from anything special.

He scored frequently when we were doing well at the start but recently he's been poor, especially in the Brentford game. He's struggled lately and it's fair to say that he deserves a rest. Leon Knight comes in and scores in cup competitions so he should be given his chance in the league again. 6) Aside from Trundle, who are the men we need to be keeping a close eye on this weekend?

Leon Britton on the right wing has a lot of pace and skill and has been our best performer this season so he'll definately be a player to watch out for.

Andy Robinson as well in midfield is always busy and is scoring frequently. He's averaged a goal every 2 games in the league (11 in 22) as well as scoring 5 in cup games. 7) Tommy Williams was far from popular with a lot of Gills fans... How is he getting on for you?

I couldn't really understand the amount of abuse he got on message boards when he joined us. He's done very well on the left for us and he didn't take long to impress the Swans fans. He offers pace going forward and he's a good crosser which was what we were in desperate need of.

However, he showed signs that he winds the opposition up and the rolling about he done at Bristol City was embarassing to watch. He went down as if he'd been shot, Chelsea would welcome his antics!

Judging by his performances so far, I think he's more of a left midfielder than a left back. He gets forward well but defensively he's not that great. 8) On the flipside to that, Brent Sancho looks likely to be in our side on Saturday... Has that sorry saga affected the opinion of the Gills amongst Swansea fans?

I don't think Swansea fans dislike the Gills any more than they used to just because of the Sancho saga. It was your stupid chairman that was the problem, not the club as a whole. He's been involved in things like this with other clubs so it was mainly him the Swans fans weren't pleased with at the time. 9) Bearing in mind that you are the only team we've beaten outside of Kent this season, do you think we can stay up this season?

I'll be surprised if you go down. Hartlepool as well I think will stay up and the bottom as it is will go down. Obviously though your form has to improve and hopefully it won't until after we play you!

I think you've got enough quality to stay, as has Hartlepool while the bottom 4 are showing no signs of any improvement.10) What do you think the score will be on Saturday?

Apart from the home win against Brentford, you haven't been able to score many goals at home so I think we can edge this one 2-1. Our confidence will be high after our recent win but so will yours probably.

Thanks to Kevin for his help, and all the best to him and Swansea for the rest of the season. After Saturday, that is!
