All-time record v the Gills:

Matches: 51
Gills wins: 29
Draws: 12
Doncaster wins: 10Remember me? Bruce Dyer is believed to have nearly become the Gills' record signing in 2000/01 but turned the move down, reportedly because he was insisting on a relegation release clause which the Gills were unwilling to give him. His Barnsley side were relegated themselves the next season.Man to watch: Paul Heffernan. Scored both the goals when the Rovers beat us in the League Cup last season and is a striker of real quality. Had a superb season for Notts County when they were relegated and joined Bristol City, with the Gills also supposedly interested in him but struggled at Ashton Gate, but has fared better after his move to Belle Vue in 2005.2006/07 prospects: Doncaster were close to making the play-offs last year and have added enough good players to their side in order to go at least one step further this time around.
