All-time record v the Gills:

Matches: 85
Gills wins: 25
Draws: 22
Brighton wins: 38Remember me? Defender Guy Butters is still going strong with the Seagulls, almost four years after being released by the Gills. Bought from Portsmouth for 225,000 in October 1996, Butters was an excellent servant for the Gills and was part of the side that won promotion in 2000. Among his team mates is midfielder Richard Carpenter, who began his career at Priestfield.Man to watch: Colin Kazim-Richards. Kazim-Richards was bought by the Seagulls after they won the inaugural Coca-Cola "Win A Player" Competition in 2005 and he impressed last season even though the Seagulls were relegated and should be a real menace at League One level.2006/07 prospects: Last year's relegated sides all struggled and Brighton may find it tough to make the step back down. They haven't really strengthened and Leon Knight has not been replaced, leaving them with a potential lack of goals.
